Commissioned by the National Palace Museum, we drew design elements from ancient architecture to create this set of ceramic tableware. We hope that we can incorporate the new Chinese elements into tableware, so that more people can feel the charm of Chinese ceramic tableware.

Dine
Alone

We have noticed that many young people now have the habit of independent dining, and they enjoy the time alone very much. This set of dinnerware is for the people prefer to dine alone, so in the design aim abandoned the ceramic tableware sets' tradition to serve the group or family , instead to serve for eating alone~

Inspiration of the design

We derived the ancient building and ceramic in the National Palace Museum and put their formation into the design of the ceramic table ware.

The shelf of chopstick are designed with the shape of the carving of ancient auspicious beast who can bring good fortune to the people , protect their family and home.

The bowl are designed based on the ancient myth of Chinese version of heavenly cover cosmology and ancient Chinese architecture , which claims the universe is made of a square earth and a round heaven. Therefore, the top of it was designed in the shape of round and the bottom of it was square.
